Music Academy La Prairie offers comprehensive and personalized lessons for all levels — children, teens, and adults. Our qualified, skilled, bilingual, and empathetic teachers provide modern instruction in newly equipped studios with high-quality instruments and materials. Committed to providing a caring and evolving learning environment, we offer our teachers ongoing training in child psychological and social development as well as in instrumental pedagogy.

The courses at La Prairie Music Academy are offered throughout the school year, following a calendar that aligns with the schedules of local schools.

For the 2025–2026 school year, classes began on September 2, 2025, and will continue until June 15, 2026, for a total of approximately 35 to 38 lessons, depending on the day of the week.

It is still possible to enroll at any time during the year; the number of lessons will simply be adjusted according to the remaining portion of the session.

Trial Lesson : We also offer the possibility of a trial lesson, allowing students to experience our approach and confirm their interest before committing for the year. Trial lessons are available once the session has started, subject to teacher availability.

At Music Academy La Prairie, we believe that music is best experienced through exploration, discovery, and personal growth. That’s why we offer our students the opportunity to participate in a variety of enriching activities and recognized programs, tailored to their interests and goals.

Students can, if they wish, prepare for various official examination programs, such as the LUMI program (in affiliation with the University of Montreal) or the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music).
These structured programs help validate learning and encourage steady musical progress, particularly for students studying piano, classical guitar, violin, and cello.

Students can also choose to participate in various music competitions, tailored to their instrument and skill level, fostering motivation, discipline, and self-confidence.

Twice a year, we organize concerts where our students have the opportunity to share their passion in front of a supportive and enthusiastic audience. These events are always filled with pride and emotion, both for the students and their loved ones.

All of these activities are completely optional. Each student progresses at their own pace, according to their interests and goals. Our priority remains the joy of learning and a passion for music.
